Online Membership Application
We have an online membership application form, the link is further down this page or you can scan the QR code.
Once you and completed and submitted the form, please email the membership team, membership@portchestersc.org so that we can confirm receipt.
Once you have completed and submitted the form you will need to contact the Membership Secretary, membership@portchestersc.org, to arrange to attend the next convenient "Members' Night". Then we can meet you and discuss your interests and requirements, and your application will then go to the General Committee for approval at the following Meeting. Members' Nights are held, usually, on a Wednesday evening mid-month. The dates are listed, as part of our Social programme, in our Club Events Calendar.
Whilst completing the form you may want to check on some of our club policies or rules. Putting links to these pages or documents in the online form works but takes you out of the partly completed form and you might get lost!

Our annual subscriptions and the details of our membership classes are here: PSC Membership Fees 2024.pdf. For Full memberships there is a joining fee of £50, of which £25 (non-refundable) is put onto a bar account to use on food & drink.
The Club is governed and run by adherence to ' The Club Rules'. The can only be changed by a majority vote of members at a General Meeting, usually the AGM in November each year. The Club has additional byelaws which define the lesser day to day requirements to make the club operate smoothly and fairly for all members. The main management committee, the General Committee, can update these from time to time at their monthly committee meetings. By joining Portchester Sailing Club you confirm that you agree to abide by the Club Rules and Byelaws at all times.

As an RYA Training Centre we have a strong child protection policy, Child Protection - Good Practice Guidelines.pdf , with a nominated Child Protection Officer.
Online Application Form
You can add up to five applicants using this form. Such as: One or two adults in a partnership, with their children (if any). One or more non family cadets (i.e. joining without their parents or guardians) but sharing the same address. The form allows you to skip the sections when there are no more names to add.
