SUP & Kayaks

New to the club is our 'Portchester Paddlers' section, who meet for a paddle on Friday evenings, alongside the Family Friendly Friday session, so patrol boat cover will be in available whilst you get to grips with your paddle!

Our location at Portchester offers the ideal base to access the upper reaches of Portsmouth harbour. The shelter provided by Portchester Castle makes it ideal spot for beginners to practice in the shallow sheltered waters close to shore, sheltered from wind, waves and tide.

Once you have mastered the skills you can venture far and wide, across Portsmouth Harbour, up Fareham Creek, across to Gosport, or at high tide venture through the tidal channel across into Langstone Harbour and further afield to Chichester Harbour.

Through out the summer months we have organised paddles within the harbour, usually stopping off at one of the other harbour clubs for a spot of light refreshment; chil'in out, taking in the fantastic views and wildlife across the harbour. Why not come and joins us and enjoy the beautiful scenery on our doorstep?

Also to make life easier, we have storage facilities available for members.
