Portchester Sailing Club provides sailing opportunities for members of all ages and skills, from kayaks, sailing dinghies to yachts (both cruising and racing), training to improve your sailing and powerboat driving, social sailing in company, but all with the emphasis on having fun on the water.
At Portchester we have a fantastic sailing area, based in the upper reaches of Portsmouth harbour. At high tide the vast expanse of water within the harbour offers a great sheltered sailing area, no matter the wind direction, launching is a breeze from our private slipway enabling access to the water all states of the tide.
The Club has a selection of one- and two-handed dinghies, suitable for all ages and abilities. For more information see Club Boats.
Family / Social sailing
An opportunity for all ages to get out on the water, whatever your sailing ability, with the confidence of knowing that there is a patrol boat available to help should you get into difficulties. For further information see Social Sailing. Club boats may be in demand so book early!
