VHF Radio Course
One day course covering all aspects of using VHF radio on shore and at sea. This course is being held at The Andrew Simpson Sailing Centre, Eastern Road Portsmouth.
Cost will be £119 payable to Portchester Sailing Club - plus an additional £76 examination fee payable direct to the RYA.
What to bring: Notebook, pen, lunch, exam paperwork, photo ID, passport photo with name on back.

This exam payment needs to be done prior to the course. Each candidate will need to print the paperwork and bring it with them on the day. This often ends up in their junk folder so please do make sure people check in there.
Due to the amount of course content we ask participants to do some pre-reading ahead of the course. Participants should learn the phonetic alphabet, procedure words and look over the MayDay distress protocol. This will still be covered on the course but helps us to save time on the day to ensure everything is covered. Attached is a document with the relevant information to help you.
